Rental Periods:

Apart from long weekends, the minimum stay period at our homes is 7 nights – from Saturday to Saturday, or from Sunday to Sunday, depending on the rental chosen.
The arrival time at our homes commences at 5:00 p.m. and departure time from our homes must be prior to 10:00 a.m. During long weekends in the off-season, there exists the possibility, only upon request and availability, of advancing the arrival time and/or moving back the departure time.
Rates are displayed on a per night basis.

Supplements/Extras:

– Available cleaning package for the end of your stay (does not include the washing of dishes or kitchen clean-up) : €150.00

*** If this service is not retained by the tenant, the tenant hereby agrees to return the property rental back to the exact condition of cleanliness as was found on their day of arrival.

Tourist Tax:

The Tourist Tax, which is paid to the municipality, must be paid before your arrival using the form which will be emailed to you approximately 30 days before your arrival. The tax is set on the basis of 1.50 € / Person, 18 years or older (>).

Conditions of Your Booking:

For a reservation to be accepted, a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay must be paid online, using the online payment gateway.
Once payment is made, an acknowledgment of receipt of deposit will be sent to you immediately via email. *** To guarantee your reservation, the outstanding balance (amount owing after the deposit) must be paid in full 1 month prior to the date of your arrival.
Upon receipt of the payment of the remaining balance of your stay, a booking confirmation will be sent to you.

Cancellation Guarantee:

Cancellation costs may be covered by utilising the Cancellation Guarantee offered by LES MAISONS DE L’OCEAN, for an amount of €8 per the number of nights reserved, and if prior to the customer’s arrival, one of the following events occurs:

– Serious illness, serious accident or death affecting you or a member of your family.
– Pregnancy complications prior to the 7th month.
– Significant material damage affecting your own home property and imperatively requiring your presence.
– Lay-off from your profession
– Accident or theft of your vehicle and/or your caravan, which occurs on the direct route to reach your rental property.

Where applicable, customers will be reimbursed on sufficient presentation of supporting documents, in the amounts of:

– 100% of the rental amount, after the deduction of booking fees (40€) and cancellation fees (8€ x Number of nights booked), in the event of an allowable occurrence as outlined in the Cancellation Guarantee, between the booking date and 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to one of our properties.
– 70% of the rental amount, after the deduction of booking fees (40€) and cancellation fees (8€ x Number of nights booked), in the event of an allowable occurrence as outlined in the Cancellation Guarantee, between 30 to 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to one of our properties.
– 50% of the rental amount, after the deduction of booking fees (40€) and cancellation fees (8€ x Number of nights booked), in the event of an allowable occurrence as outlined in the Cancellation Guarantee, between 15 to 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to one of our properties.
– 25% of the rental amount, after the deduction of booking fees (40€) and cancellation fees (8€ x Number of nights booked), in the event of an allowable occurrence as outlined in the Cancellation Guarantee, less than 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to one of our properties.
If one of the above Cancellation Guarantee events occurs during your stay and forces you to interrupt your stay, you will be reimbursed 50% of the amount corresponding to the part of the stay not already taken, and after the deduction of the booking fees (40€) and cancellation fees (8€ x number of nights booked).

Restrictions:

– Smoking is prohibited in all our homes. Animals are also prohibited on and in our properties.
– The number of occupants must not exceed the sleeping capacity of each home, unless authorised beforehand.

Hygiene and Disinfection Measures (Covid-19):

All frequently touched surfaces have been disinfected prior to your arrival, including countertops, light switches, doorknobs and faucets.
All bedding and towels have been thoroughly washed at a minimum of 60°C.
All our houses are cleaned using disinfectant.
At the end of your stay, sheets and towels must be left at the entrance to each bedroom.

Security Deposit:

A security deposit of 1,500€, intended to guarantee against any damage, must be sent in the days following your reservation, and no later than prior your arrival. Your security deposit can be sent as a cheque in the mail, or left using a remote bank imprint, with a simple phone call.
The security deposit will be returned after the end of your stay, pending the deduction of any damages occurred and/or the cost of restoring cleanliness inside the house, as well as outside and in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.

Included Services:

– Water, electricity, gas (if applicable), internet and Wi-Fi connection.
– Recreational Equipment: “Fishing on foot” kit, crab fishing kit, and sandcastle kit for children.

Bylaws:

1) Conditions of Admission
Staying in one of the rentals of the “Maisons de L’Océan” implies acceptance of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure outlined, and the commitment to comply with them.

2) Formalities and Other Regulation:
– Any person who stays at least one night in the rental, must have first presented their identity documents to the site manager or their representative. – Minors unaccompanied by their parents cannot be admitted.
– Smoking is prohibited in all our homes
– The number of occupants must not exceed the sleeping capacity of each home, unless authorised beforehand.
– Animals are not permitted on or in the premises

3) Installation:
No equipment, such as a tent, can be installed in the gardens or premises of each home.

4) Garbage/Waste:
The tenant is required to take out the waste and recycling on the days displayed in the kitchen. We ask that you separate waste from recyclable items.
As a reminder, the container with yellow lid includes all paper, cardboard, aluminium cans and plastic packaging; the container with the green lid collects all the bio-waste/compostable items; and the container with black lid includes all non-recyclable packaging.
Glass bottles should be discarded in the appropriate containers located outside your rental.

5) Noise:
The users of each rental are urged to avoid all noises and discussions which could disturb their neighbours. Sound devices such as radios, stereos and speakers must be adjusted accordingly. Total silence is required between the hours of 11pm and 8am, 7 days a week.
*** For any group booking (3+ individuals with different surnames) an additional deposit of 120€ per person will be collected at the same time as the initial deposit of 1,500€. This deposit will be returned 72 hours after the end of your stay, provided that the Rules of Procedure have been respected.

6) Visitors:
After prior authorization by LES MAISONS DE L’OCEAN, visitors can be admitted to the rental.
We remind you that the number of occupants to spend the night must not exceed the sleeping capacity indicated for the specific rental.

7) Maintenance and Appearance of Facilities
Every person is required to refrain from any action that could potentially disturb or destroy the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the rental and its immediate surroundings.
Plants and floral decorations must be respected. Any degradation or damage inflicted on the vegetation, the fences, the grounds and/or the installations of the premises will be the responsibility of the tenant having made the reservation.

8) Security and Safety:
– Fire: Open fires (wood, coal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Only barbecues are permitted and only outside of the home.
In case of fire, notify the fire department immediately. Fire extinguishers can be used if necessary.
– Theft: Tenants are responsible for all their belongings held on the premises, throughout their entire stay.

9) Children:
No violent or annoying/loud games can be organised or played on or near the rental. Children must always be under the sole supervision of their parents, who are both civilly and criminally responsible for their own and their children’s actions.

10) Display of Rules:
These rules of procedure are displayed at the entrance of each rental. They can also be provided to the tenant on simple request.

11) Breaches of Bylaws:
In the event that a tenant disturbs the neighbourhood or does not respect the provisions of these internal regulations, the manager or their representative may orally, or in writing if deemed necessary, give notice to the tenants to immediately cease the disturbances. In the event of recidivism/repeated breaches of bylaws, the manager reserves the right to keep the deposit. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call law enforcement.
